Aviation Expo:

This is the new premier gathering for aviation enthusiasts, collectors, and spotters, taking place from July 8-11, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This event features aviation workshops & seminars, a marketplace with over 200 tables of airline/aviation collectibles for trade/sale, Seattle aviation landmark tours, plane spotting events, an aviation career day, and MUCH MORE! Refer to the fact sheet below for more information.

Hotel Booking:

Our host hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport. Located at the Southeast corner of the SEA airport complex, the hotel features a 14-floor tower, with amazing views of Seattle Airport and local mountains. The DoubleTree Hotel SEA-TAC has a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle running every 20 minutes. No need to schedule a ride, just show up at the shuttle bus stop, even if your flight is late! You can even walk from the airport terminal to the hotel! There are many restaurants and stores a short walk away, also Link light rail is at the airport!

The hotel booking link for the DoubleTree SEA-TAC is now open. We have special AE 2026 SEA room rates starting at $195 a night and $225 a night for rooms with an airport view balcony on the top 4 floors! All room bookings include discounted hotel parking. Please note, for the airport view, choose the “Mountain View” rate, as our special airport view rooms are also considered “Mountain view”.

Registration:
Registration and vendor table sign-up are now open with the link below. We are offering 4-day registration (required for tours), daily admission, youth admission, and all children under 12 are FREE! All registration options include a $5 voucher that can be used at any vendor in the marketplace. We will also have onsite discounts available for active/retired airline/airport employees and family, active/retired military and family, active/retired Boeing employees and family. Just show your ID at the entrance! Island tables are $89, and wall tables are $99. Airways Magazine is offering complementary advertisement opportunities with vendor registration booked before December 31, 2025. Details can be found here, so be sure to sign up!

Plane Spotting:

No need to get special transportation for your plane spotting, just reserve one of our “Airport View” hotel rooms. We have reserved all of the rooms on the top four floors of the DoubleTree tower facing the airport for our show attendees. We have reserved the 14th-floor exhibit space, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking SEA-TAC Airport, for all four days of Aviation Expo for spotting and other get-togethers. The plane spotting is fantastic – SEA features 36 airlines, including 11 Asian carriers! Multiple spotting events are planned during all 4 days of Aviation Expo. More information about these spotting events will come out in 2026.

Preliminary Tour Information:

Boeing Everett:

The world’s largest building, originally built in 1967 for the 747, is now home to 777 production. The tour is an 80-minute guided experience, and you will also have time for a visit to the Boeing Future of Flight gallery and the Skydeck overlooking Paine Field for plane spotting!

The Museum of Flight:

One of the largest air and space museums in the world, it features over 175 air and space craft, including a Concorde, Lockheed Constellation, Boeing 247D, VC-138B, 727, 737, 747, 787, and many more. We will have multiple bus shuttles scheduled for trips to this world-class museum.

Alaska Airlines:

Seattle is home to Alaska Airlines’ Headquarters, including Pilot training, Flight Attendant training, the Alaska operations center, and aircraft maintenance facilities.

Kenmore Air:

Operating at Lake Union and Lake Washington north of downtown Seattle, Kenmore Air features 17 DH-2 and DH-3 Beaver and Otter aircraft, flying scheduled service to the San Juan Islands, charters, and sightseeing flights. We are planning special trips up to the Lake Washington base, with scenic seaplane rides available, tours of the Kenmore maintenance facility, and a local food truck!
