Tours, Speakers, & More at Aviation Expo 2026 SEA!

These tours take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. The tour includes an overview of the Alaska Airlines hangar, engine shop, and sheet metal shop, with a short walk across the street from the DoubleTree hotel. This opportunity highlights one of the largest maintenance operations in the Pacific Northwest.

Hosted on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Tours depart the SeaTac DoubleTree at 4:00 PM both days and return at approximately 8:00 PM. The experience includes an overview of the Kenmore Air maintenance facility at Lake Washington, a static seaplane display, and dedicated seaplane spotting time. Scenic seaplane flights over Seattle on a radial engine DHC-2 Beaver will also be available to book.

Boeing Everett Factory Tours will be hosted on Wednesday. Tours will depart the SeaTac DoubleTree at 8:30 AM and return to the hotel at approximately 3:00 PM. Transportation and timing will be coordinated as part of a structured group experience aligned with Boeing’s factory tour protocols. This visit offers a guided look inside one of the most recognized commercial aircraft production facilities in aviation history.

Museum of Flight tour times are still in the works. Round-trip transportation will be provided. This visit offers access to one of the world’s premier air and space museums, featuring historic airliners, military aircraft, and space exhibits.

Brian Keene of AvPro Designs will host airport diorama workshops during Aviation Expo 2026 SEA. His sessions are focused on practical airport layout building, realistic detailing, display techniques, and helping attendees improve or start their own airport diorama projects.

Todd Michaels of GeminiJets is planned as a featured speaker. This session can highlight industry perspectives on die-cast model aircraft development, product planning, collector trends, and the evolving model-aircraft market.

Connor McCauley will present as an aviation content creator and airport operations professional. Session topics include building an aviation platform on social media media and from becoming an aviation professional as an aviation enthusiast.

Joe Crawford is a Hawaiian Airlines A330 captain and his exact seminar topic is TBD.

Brian Worthington is will present an airline journey through historic and modern carriers using exclusive imagery from The Great Airlines Book Series.

Andy owns and runs Tarmac Designs and will provide an inside look at how 3D printing is transforming the aviation model hobby.

Exclusive first-look marketplace access for registered attendees and pass holders before general public entry.

The Aviation Expo Marketplace will be located in the Grand Ballroom and Northwest Ballroom, offering buying, selling, and trading of airline, aviation, and military collectibles, along with a presence from aviation recruiters.

Full-day marketplace access with vendor tables, aviation collectibles, and attendee interaction throughout the main exhibit areas.

A dedicated Aviation Career Day focused on connecting attendees with professionals from airlines, airports, aerospace companies, flight schools, maintenance providers, and training organizations.
